About Fred
Fred Berry started with Johnson Controls in 1986 and has been the Product Manager for Large Tonnage Chiller and Electronic Products. In these roles, Fred was responsible for the development of the OptiView chiller control panel and the unit mounted Variable Speed Drive for centrifugal chillers as well as product development and applications requirements for the York screw and centrifugal chiller products. He is currently the Chiller Product Manager for Chiller Products, Building Efficiency, and Johnson Controls supporting the York brand. Fred is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and the US Navy Nuclear Power Program, and served aboard fast attack submarines.
